Pastor Bob Westfall speaks with Julie and Raymond Jorgensen. They are leaving New Covenant after 12 years in service at NCBC. They are moving back to their native Michigan where Ray has accepted a job with GE-Aviation in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
They had to correct the Pastor which state they were moving to.

Pastor Mark Forstrom(right) joins to pray over the Jorgensens as they depart to go home to Michigan and serve for the Lord at a new church home. Also Ray was a Youth Sponsor for all 12 or so years at NCBC.

Let's do it again Next Year!!!

Iowa Interstate SASI's

Extra section of SASI came first thru Coralville. It does look like a race between the train and a vehicle on Hwy 6.
Video below.

Couple hours later, the main section of the SASI passes Hawkeye(Tiffin, IA) with 516 on the point.
The unit led the CBBI-09 the previous evening across Western Iowa and was pulled overnight at South Amana.

A Day On The Rails-Part 1

The Photos--

CP Clinton local bringing a load for ADM up to Fifth Street crossovers in Clinton, IA.

Nice surprise on this hopper train in the Moline siding-a KCS motor--4701.

Iowa Interstate 513, 511, 516 working the BICB02 on the west-end of Silvis Yard. All three of the Iowa Interstate schemes are displayed here.

Chased CP train 475 up to Clinton with NS power on the point.

Back in  Clinton to watch the CP Clinton local head north with some freight for Savanna Yard. This time the trailing unit on the southbound run is leading. There are not too many of these left.

A three-way meet occurred at Fifth Street. First were two westbound stacks on the UP, then CP 475 got his light to cross over to homerails.
The roster of the 475 was ES44AC NS 8150.....
