Church, Prairiewoods and Fall Scenes

The Full Moon setting in the western skies while the sun rises on the east side of New Covenant Bible Church on Sunday morning(9/30).

A quilt and woodcarving exhibit now on display in the Front Porch at New Covenant Bible Church.

One of the woodcarving objects and one of my favorite birds, the Cardinal.

Fall Colors are in their prime in Eastern Iowa as Ray Jorgensen from Marion walks along the trail at New Covenant Bible Church.

Pastor James Wartian introduces the guest speaker, Don Richardson, at New Covenant Bible Church. This was part of the Global Outreach Weekend at NCBC.

Fall is here!!!

The White Swans on the banks of the pond at New Covenant Bible Church.
Looks to me they are shedding.

A Mallard is not bothered by the Alligator decoy at all in the pond at New Covenant Bible Church.

The park bench near the trail at New Covenant Bible Church.

A sign Fall has arrived--tree on the right is changing.

Another reason Fall is here-a tree in front of our house has turned up top.

Phone, barns and a herring

Don't see too many of these around either, unless you live in the South Slope Phone Company area.
This was in Fairfax, IA.

A Herring along Prairie Creek.

Barn in the midst of a soybean field south of Walford, IA.

And another down the road in the midst of a cornfield.

Birdies on a line near Oxford, IA.

Another barn; hidden in the cornfield near Fairfax, IA.

Another one across the road and this one looks to have seen its day.
