Mother-Slug on the Turn

Cedar Rapids Turn waits for Job 3(right) to clear so they can work.

Yard slug 651 and GP38-2 721 are in the consist. These units usually work Blue Island, but they will be heading eastbound on the evening SASI train to be returned to yard service. They were dead-in-tow.

The outbound turn working the 900 yard.


This old caboose sits in Walford, looks to me it has been used as a house.
