Silvis Train Day and Classic Car Show

The 2nd Annual Silvis Train Day and Classic Car Show was held on the grounds of the 

former NRE Shops in Silvis, Illinois. The show was sponsored by the RRHMA(Railroading Heritage of Midwest America).

ATSF 537 participated as part of "Throttle Time" with 12 lucky participants and the event was 

SOLD OUT.

The horn was as big as the cab itself. It was a Nathan P5 and it was a sweet sound and the bell was inside the motor compartment behind the cab.
